Deplomo CLI 2.0.0

latest

Deplomo CLI 2.0.0 introduces breaking changes as part of the product rename. Install the new deplomo executable and sign in again. Existing tokens with the old grd_ prefix are not accepted; create new tokens for CI and agents.

Migration from Gerdoo CLI

  1. Install Deplomo CLI 2.0.0 and remove the old gerdoo executable.
  2. Run deplomo login and approve sign-in in your browser.
  3. Reissue CI and agent tokens with the new dpl_ prefix, then update stored secrets.
  4. After verifying that your existing project link points to the intended service, move it to .deplomo/service.json and rename .gerdooignore to .deplomoignore. Then run deplomo deploy from that folder to update the existing service.

What you can do with the CLI

Earlier releases introduced these capabilities; this page lists only the current 2.0.0 download.

  • Deploy code from a local project to an existing service without connecting a Git host; review builds and releases or roll back to an earlier build.
  • Manage projects and environments, service settings, environment variables, secrets, and domains.
  • Inspect logs and service status, run commands in a container, and transfer files to and from volumes.
  • Connect coding agents through MCP, and use CLI commands in scripts and CI pipelines.
  • Run preflight checks before deploying. The CLI also supports private Docker images, custom subdomains for web services, and PHP versions 8.2 through 8.4. Its optional deplomo.json file configures new services; creating new services is currently paused.
